CALLING ALL GARDENERS AND PLANT LOVERS!

Plant Donations needed: perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs, fruit plants and small shrubs

Donation Days
Wednesday-Friday, May 13th-15th
Saturday, May 16th prior to the sale at 8 am

If you are available to
help with digging up plants and potting, please reach out to us!

Please label donated plants with the plant name. bloom color, and type of sun required. Please pot plants at least ONE WEEK prior to the sale to assure plants will survive and flourish!

In any event, please save the date and come to the sale! Your support is greatly appreciated!

Pies, breads, cookies...these are delicious and are available to order through November 20, 2025 for a November 26th pick up. These were a tremendous hit last year (and we have the calories to prove it)! Treat your host or your guests this Thanksgiving...all proceeds go to support programs hosted at the Newbury Town Library!

We hope you had a wonderful time at the Harvest Fest on 10/25!!! We did!
The Soup Contest was a smashing success. We had 11 entries in total!!!
Voters cast their ballots for "Best in Soup" as follows:
First Place: Italian Wedding Soup
Second Place: Tortellini Soup w/Italian Sausage & Kale Soup
Third Place Tie: Avogolemeno Soup & Scallop Bacon Chowder
Fourth Place: Potato & Leek Soup
Fifth Place: Potato Cheese Soup
Sixth Place: Senate Navy Bean Soup
Seventh Place Tie: Chili & Cream of Mushroom Soup
Eighth Place Tie: Pastina in Brodo & Red Lentil

Our Touch a Truck, Petting Zoo, Kids Crafts and Face Painting were a big hit on a lovely fall day! Thanks to all who came out to participate. Your support will help fuel our ability to support programs hosted by the Newbury Town Library!

Thanks to all who came to The Friends of the Newbury Town Library 50th Anniversary celebration at Sips & Snacks in the Stacks! In attendance were some board member alumni, trustees and some new folks that we were happy to welcome to the Friends!
