SPRING HYDRANT FLUSHING WILL BE CONDUCTED DURING THE FOLLOWING DATES
APRIL 13th through APRIL 24th
This will be done between the hours of 7:00pm to 11:00pm.

Low water pressure and/or discoloration of water may take place due to the flushing. If it happens, you should run your water for a short period of time and the discoloration should dissipate.

Effective August 3, 2022, the Byfield Water District Commissioners have declared a State of Water Supply Conservation. All use of outside watering is prohibited.

The following MANDATORY Water restrictions must be adhered to:
• All nonessential outside use of water is prohibited
• No irrigation of lawns ( automatic sprinklers or by hand)
• No car washing
• No filling of swimming pools
• Washing of driveways, sidewalks, exterior building surfaces except necessary to paint

Allowed uses:
• Water for livestock
• Hand held watering for agriculture purposes

Any person violating these restrictions shall be liable to the Water District in the amount of $50.00 for the 1st violation and $100.00 for each subsequent violation.
