The Bourne Council on Aging Needs Assessment Survey will be arriving in your mailbox next week!

Please help us help you by taking a few minutes to complete this important survey. Your feedback will help us better understand the needs of older adults in our community and plan future programs and services.

The survey will also be available online, as well as hard copies at the COA, Town Hall, and Library next week. Thank you for sharing your voice!

BEACON HILL TO BUZZARDS BAY
Great to be in beautiful and historic Buzzards Bay today for a meeting with Bourne Council on Aging Outreach Assistant Director Kari Phinney at the Bourne Veterans Memorial Community Center and a wonderful group of veteran widows and spouses known as the Poppy Group.

We had a meaningful conversation about Military Appreciation Month, upcoming Memorial Day observances, being a Gold Star father, the importance of family, the bridges, Nero’s Law, Dakota’s Law, and issues currently being discussed at the State House and on Beacon Hill. It is always important to bring Beacon Hill directly to our communities and have honest conversations with the people we serve.

Thank you again to Kari for the invitation and hospitality. I look forward to seeing this great group again soon.

For just $13, you can provide a meal through the Meals on Wheels Program for a senior in need. Simply scan the QR code to make a donation and help support older adults in our community. 💙
