Congratulations to Lieutenant Roblee on his promotion in Sanford! Jeff began his Maine fire service career as a live-in student at Groveville Station in Buxton and was also recently promoted to Division Chief here at Buxton Fire & Rescue.

Last night FF/Paramedic Roblee was sworn in as a Lieutenant for the Sanford Fire Department. Lieutenant Roblee has been with the SFD for seven years, showing his dedication to the community and department through mentorship and education in both Fire and EMS. Congratulations Lieutenant Roblee!

You may have seen a lot of fire truck activity on the roads recently, May is our Spring hydrant testing month. Every hydrant in town is tested twice a year to ensure normal operation during an emergency. This evening 8 Call Company members with 3 trucks from both Groveville and Barmills Station participated in hydrant testing which is a shared responsibility between the Paid-on call and Full-Time paid staff members.
