Day 5 our final day and ceremony 🚒🚨🚔🫆🔥

Granville EMS stopped by and showed our cadets their rig and the importance of EMS and their role in emergencies. PSO Butler educated cadets on simple first aid ⛑️ training and healthy eating habits. PSO Butler also set up a mock popat (physical test all officers have to complete and pass in order to become an officer) Our cadets had a blast completing this and enjoyed some fun competition!

We ended the day with lunch and our ceremony. A special thanks to one of our cadets parents for making T-shirts for everyone to have! We would like to thank our Chief for his support throughout the week, our town manager and mayor for their engagement and support with our camp.

A BIG thank you to SRO Toral, Sgt. Lomena, Sgt. McAdams and Admin Assistant Emily for their hard work and dedication for our first ever Jr Cadet Camp! Without your commitment and support this camp would not have been a success!

Thank you Jr. Cadets for a fun, educational, and memorable week!

Day 4 🫆☝️ Today our cadets got their fingerprints done and learned everyone’s is unique. We had a surprise visitor from our Town Manager who stopped by to see how our cadets are doing. Capt. Bryant educated everyone on our drone and explained the importance of it.

We are ready for our graduation tomorrow!

Day 3 🔥🚒💧

Our cadets learned a little about what it takes to be a fireman 👨‍🚒 the were able to use a hose and see it’s strength and aim. They saw a fireman in full gear and was able to try it on themselves. They had the challenge of finding a child in a smoky room and getting the child to safety. They worked in groups to carry a “person” (cones) out to safety. Lots of physical training to day !

We look forward to day 4 to work a crime scene!
