Your Challenge: Who we elect, is ultimately about community. Ask 5 women you know if they are registered and plan to vote, then ask them to do the same.
When we work to mobilize our family and friends, we can grow our collective power exponentially.

At YWCA, we know that real change doesn’t happen alone - it happens together. On this National Nonprofit Day, we’re proud to stand alongside an incredible network of nonprofit partners who work every day to build stronger, more equitable communities.
From advancing racial justice to empowering women, supporting families, and creating pathways to opportunity, our partners inspire us with their dedication, compassion, and impact.

To all our fellow nonprofit partners, thank you for your vision, collaboration and commitment to those you serve.

Together, we are creating a future where women, girls, and families can thrive.

Today, you'll notice something a little different around our sidewalks - red sand filling the cracks.

This is part of Red Sand Day, an awareness campaign bringing attention to human trafficking. The red sand represents the people who too often "fall through the cracks" and reminds us that every person deserves to be seen, valued, and protected.

We're proud to join VOICE Butler Co and other organizations throughout Butler County in raising awareness about this important issue. Together, we can help educate our community, support survivors, and work toward a future where no one is overlooked.

The sand will naturally wash away over time, but we hope the message will stay with all of us much longer.

A huge thank you to the incredible staff and interns from Maher Duessel CPAs for spending the day with us at YWCA Butler, helping with a painting project in our affordable housing community for older adults.

Projects like this often happen behind the scenes, but they have a lasting impact. A freshly painted space creates a cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming home for our residents while allowing us to stretch our resources even further.

We're thankful for your support and for a team that's willing to jump in and help wherever it's needed. Thank you for making a difference in our community!

This Juneteenth, we celebrate Opal Lee—the “Grandmother of Juneteenth”—whose decades of advocacy helped turn a day of remembrance into a national movement for freedom.

Her work reminds us: freedom is not just remembered; it must be advanced.

At YWCA USA, we remain on a mission to eliminate racism and empower women every day.
