Happy EMS Week!

This week is about recognizing the men and women of EMS, but we especially want to take a moment to recognize the crews of Choctaw County EMS.

This job isn’t easy. It’s long hours, back-to-back calls, missed time with family, and situations that don’t always have the outcome you hoped for. It takes a different kind of professional to keep showing up, to keep doing the job, and to carry that responsibility day in and day out.

Y’all are there on people’s worst days, making decisions, providing care, and doing everything you can with what you have in the moment. A lot of that work happens without recognition, but it matters more than most people realize.

We see the effort, the consistency, and the level of commitment it takes to do what you do.

From all of us at Scott Mountain VFD, we appreciate the hard work and dedication of Choctaw County EMS and EMS professionals everywhere.
