As this year's National EMS Week comes to a close we wanted to take a moment and thank all of our dedicated EMS providers and support staff. The week has been full of gift bags, lunches, dinners, snacks, donuts, T-Shirts, and coffee mugs, but most importantly it has been about recognizing these professionals for the critical service they provide to our community. We have been fortunate this past month to bring on several new EMTs and what a great week to welcome them into the EMS field. We have no doubt they will help represent the next generation of responders.

This month we also saw the retirement of our Director of CQI, Bob Evans, after a successful 34 year career with BAS! And the promotion of Paramedic Christie Weifenbaugh to Quality Assurance Coordinator. Its been an exciting month leading into what should be a busy and exciting summer for our team.

Thank you BAS professionals for everything you do, day in and day out. We know how lucky we are to have you on our team and your community is much better for it! Happy EMS Week!

We have been out talking with residents of our senior communities today along with several other organizations and providers as part of a Senior Services Fair. This allows us to explain the services we provide and answer any questions.

We would like to thank the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Butler County for having us at the properties in the City of Butler.

Have you wanted to become an EMT and start a career in Emergency Medical Services? This is an opportunity for anyone who lives in Butler County to become an EMT and get paid while attending class. This program is ran with the generous of the Butler County Commissioners to grow the EMS workforce here in Butler County.

We would like to thank the Butler County Chamber of Commerce for hosting a great Trick or Treat event for the community at Preston Park on Wednesday evening. Ultimately the weather was not the most cooperative but the kids and parents who came out appeared to have a great time and left with full bags of candy.
