Sometimes seasons shift in ways we don’t expect, and today we’re sharing one of those moments. The Pantry Thrift Store will be pausing operations for a little while as new ownership steps in. While the doors are temporarily closed, the gratitude we feel for everyone who has supported, donated, volunteered, and shopped over the years remains wide open.

This little store has been a place where kindness has passed from hand to hand, in conversations, in donations, in the simple act of choosing to help a neighbor. That spirit doesn’t end here. It continues on through the Community Food Pantry of Butler, where we’ll keep showing up for our community just as we always have.

During this transition, we ask that you hold donations for now until the new team is ready. We’ll keep sharing updates, and we encourage you to follow us here, on our Food Pantry page, so you don’t miss anything.

Today we’re celebrating all the loyal pups, goofy sidekicks, couch cuddlers, and backyard adventurers who make our days brighter. Dogs bring so much love to our homes — and we believe they deserve full bellies and happy tails too.

At the Community Food Pantry of Butler, we’re proud to support every member of the family. If you’re able, we gladly accept donations of dog food and pet supplies to help our neighbors care for their four‑legged friends. Even a small bag can make a big difference for a family and their furry companion.

The Butler Community Café is OPEN and you’re invited!

Our friends at Church of the Nazarene are hosting a FREE community dinner tonight at 5 PM, and trust us… you don’t want to miss it. Bring your family, bring your neighbors, bring that friend who always says they’re “not hungry” and then eats half your plate. 😉

We’re ready to serve at Butler Meadows Apartments, 400 S. Delaware, North Clubhouse, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM - or until all boxes are gone.

🚗 Parking Note:
Please park along the street unless you need to be close due to mobility concerns. We want to keep the apartment lot open for residents and those who can’t walk far.

💛 Let’s Be Good Guests:
The folks at Butler Meadows have kindly welcomed us to use their space. Let’s return that kindness with smiles, patience, and respect for everyone who calls the apartments home.

🌟 Mobile Pantry Tomorrow – Important Details & Parking Reminder 🌟

Our Mobile Pantry will be tomorrow at Butler Meadows Apartments, located at 400 S. Delaware, at the North Clubhouse, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM - or until all boxes have been given away.

🚗 Parking Reminder
To keep things running smoothly and to respect the residents who live at Butler Meadows, we kindly ask that you do not park in the apartment parking lot unless you are unable to walk from street parking.
This helps us avoid inconveniencing residents and ensures that neighbors who cannot walk long distances are able to park closer.

💛 A Gentle Courtesy Reminder
We are guests at this location, and the residents have been incredibly kind in allowing us to use their space for the Mobile Pantry.
We expect everyone benefiting from this program to be polite, patient, and respectful toward the residents and the property. A little kindness goes a long way in keeping this partnership strong.

We’re ready to serve our Butler neighbors with care and smiles.

🕗 Tuesday, August 25th
8:15 am – 11:00 am
12:30 pm – 3:00 pm

🕗 Wednesday, August 26th
8:15 am – 11:00 am
12:30 pm – 3:00 pm

💛 Please arrive at least 15 minutes before closing so we have time to serve you. If you’re picking up for multiple households, plan to come 30 minutes early.

Together, we make sure every table has something good to share.
