Christmas at the Hormanns

After drying everything is stored away now! One of the questions we often receive is where do we store all of the lights. Most go to the basement in 27gal storage boxes, but it takes also half of our garage for the large elements as shown here.

And after 3 days, we are just a "normal" house again. :-) Items on the right side of the garage will dry for a week and then be packed away and moved to the basement. We'll also use next week to suspend the tunnel frame on the ceiling of the garage allowing on vehicle to be stored in the garage as well.

Huge "thank you" to everyone who participated!

The "Feed Our Future" 2025 food drive has concluded! Many thanks to all those who visited Christmas at the Hormanns and were able to donate to our cause.
Because of neighbors helping neighbors, we were able to donate over 600 pounds of non perishable food items, along with nearly $2300 in cash and Kroger gift cards to God's Bounty Table at Bethany Church, right here in Liberty Township, OH.

Second day of taking down the display. One of the Mega trees, the grid, arches, and half of the house is complete.

Taking it down isn't as much fun as putting it up, but at least it goes faster. :-)

Thursday, January 1st will be our last show of the season. On Friday, the family will start disassembly our display of 75,000 lights. Wishing you a joyful 2026 where we plan to return in November with our display.

The warmer temperatures make a great opportunity to check out our display. Although the lights are always free, please consider bring non-perishable food or a cash donations for the "Feed our Future" food drive in partnership with GFWC Southwest Ohio Valley Women’s Club
