🔥24 HOURS OF CONTROLLED CHAOS🔥

This past weekend, 16 members of the CTVFC participated in the 24-Hour ERS held at the Cranberry Township PSTC as both students and instructors. This grueling but high-octane training event challenged 65 firefighters with 98 scenarios ranging from structure fires, vehicle fires, entrapments, and technical rescues over a 24-hour period, teaching responders how to react and perform well as a team while exhausted and sleep-deprived.

Thank you to all of the participants who took the time to complete this one-of-a-kind training at our facility and for leaving our station and grounds better than you found it! Also a HUGE thank you to our Ladies Auxiliary for providing dinner on Saturday night! We look forward to 2027's event, and hope to see everybody there! KEEP TRAINING! 💪

Shortly before 1400 today, Station 21 and the 90th Battalion were dispatched for a possible MFD fire in the first due. E21, E21-2, and T21 arrived within minutes to find an active alarm and an odor of smoke. E21 stretched a line and identified the target apartment, followed by T21 who forced the door. The occupancy was filled with moderate amount of smoke caused by an unintended cooking fire which was quickly isolated. Quick response by the staffed crew of 9 allowed for a positive outcome with minimal damage!
