Ohio SBDC at Miami Regionals -City of Trenton, Ohio Small Business Development Grant Program
The Ohio SBDC at Miami Regionals, in partnership with the City of Trenton, announces a grant program that will provide a total of $20,000 in financial assistance for small businesses located in Trenton, Ohio. Through the application process, up to ten grants not to exceed $4,000 for each individual qualifying recipient will be awarded. The funds must be used in efforts to improve the vitality of their business. Examples include capital improvements, expansion investments, and other growth-related efforts.
Grant Program Details:
1. Funds must be used for business growth, expansion, or capital improvements.
2. Recipients must be located or in the process of locating within the city limits of Trenton, Ohio, with a permanent commercial location and address.
3. Businesses must be established (bonded, licensed, and/or insured, as required by each industry).
4. Grant funds may be used for a future purchase of equipment or facade improvements.
5. Recipients must be able to submit all forms required through the Ohio Small Business Center (SBDC) at Miami Regionals, as well as invoices for proposed purchases.
6. Grant recipients are required to report back to the SBDC no later than thirty (30) days after receiving the grant funds.
7. For profit businesses and nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply. Government and other related agencies are not eligible to apply.
The Trenton, Ohio Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) will select the recipients based on the individual merit of their applications and will not discriminate based on age, race, religion, s*x, disability, or national origin.
Applications are due no later than 5:00 PM EST on December 12, 2025
