We're a small family farm in Center Cambridge, NY. We grow & mill heirloom grains; and produce quality hay, straw, maple syrup, & perennial flowers.

Our farming operation is diverse - and it’s never boring! Fringe benefits include many hours under the stunning skies; plenty of fresh air; working cooperatively together to get the work done; close-up sightings of birds and wildlife. And this weekend, two farmers markets! Saturday 9-2 at Troy Waterfront Farmers Market ; Sunday 10-1 at cambridgevalleyfarmersmarket. Enjoy the beautiful September weekend!

Note that we are NOT at markets this weekend, as we continue harvesting grain, and taking advantage of the sunny day to do other fieldwork. We'll be back at Troy next week, and Cambridge the first Sunday in September. See you then!

We are harvesting and haying like mad in this good weather. As our granary fills with fresh drying grains and our barns with hay and straw, please pardon our lower stock while we are short on space and time! Kristoffer is at Troy Waterfront Farmers Market today with a limited amount of grains, and no plants today. Thanks for your patience!

The day starts early for setting up at Troy Waterfront Farmers Market . Kristoffer and Annie are here today 9-2 on Upper River St on a beautiful summer day. Meanwhile back at the farm, the Winter Wheat is drying down and nearing harvest. The crop looks very good so far - the flour mills will be humming! You will find a great selection of farm-grown grains and flour today; and an abundance of blooming perennials.

A perfect June day for making hay. If perfect means hot, sweaty and dusty…but perfect also means being under the stunning blue sky, with brilliant summery clouds on the horizon; the orderly pattern of raked windrows; being surrounded by a beautiful landscape; and the satisfaction at day’s end of getting wagonloads of good hay off the fields and into the haymow. Happy June!
