PCLEA appreciates CLEAT’s efforts at the Capitol to bring attention to the challenges facing county law enforcement.

We are seeing these same issues at PCSO, where competitive pay continues to impact our ability to recruit new deputies and retain experienced officers. We appreciate CLEAT advocating for solutions to a problem affecting law enforcement agencies across Texas.

In Gregg County, Chief Deputy Craig Harrington said their biggest obstacles are with funding and salaries.

PCLEA is proud to announce our first ever Sheriff's Stockyard Showdown Ranch Rodeo! We are partnering with the Randall County Sheriff's Association and the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo to bring a fun and unique event to raise funds to support our mission. 4-5 man teams will compete in exciting events to get double payback and championship buckles.

We would love to see you come out on Friday, September 18. to watch or compete as we get back to our roots in the traditions of the Texas Panhandle! Tickets to the rodeo will also get you into the Tri-State Fair. More information to follow!

Texas Ranger Staff Sgt. Sterling Shelton has been down a long road battling cancer and still has a battle ahead. The Texas Rangers are an important partner of the Potter County Sheriff’s Office and our members, so please show your support on July 31st! Lunch, dinner, and a live auction to support one of our State Police Officers in his time of need!

This week, we would like to honor the commitment of our Deputies for National Police Week. Here at the Potter County Sheriff's Office, we count on our Deputies to take on many challenges, many roles, and many hours to meet the needs of our citizens and businesses. We have seen our members tackling issues to keep things running smoothly. PCLEA is proud to represent the men and women of Potter County who step forward and take these challenges head on, even when no one is watching. We will continue to fight for the things that matter to these employees to keep our agency strong.

PCLEA was proud to participate in this year’s Pinwheel Ceremony with The Bridge-Childrens Advocacy Center today. Each pinwheel represents one of the 937 children who received services from this great organization last year.
