The Fire Department was first organized January 1st 1981, to provide fire protection and EMS service. Membership of the Troy Township Fire Department is volunteer and part time paid. All active personnel are responsible for adhering to standard operating guidelines and are expected to respect and follow the chain of command.

The last day of sales for tickets to our Clambake!

This is one of our few fundraisers for the association so if you haven’t bought a ticket yet call up your favorite Troy Department member or swing by the station. You can even message the department on here and we will make sure it gets to the right people!

The Troy Fireman’s Association Annual Clambake & Chinese Auction is back on September 19, 2026, and it’s going to be shell‑tacular!

🍽️ Serving 5 PM – 7 PM | $50 per ticket | $15 per extra bake
Kids meals available • Pre‑sale only • Ticket sales end Sept 2 or when sold out!

This year we’re only selling 200 tickets — that’s 100 fewer than last year, so if you snooze, you lose your clams!

Catered by Farm House Foods, your meal includes:
🦪 One dozen middle‑neck clams
🍗 ½ fresh chicken (BBQ or Plain)
🍠 Sweet potato • 🌽 Ear of corn • 🥗 Coleslaw
🥖 Roll & Butter • 🍲 Clam Broth • 🍺 Pop, Water & Beer
PLUS one cup of our homemade clam chowder!

🎟️ The Troy Fire Angels will also host their famous Chinese Auction — prizes, laughs, and hometown fun galore!

This morning some of our members had the opportunity to attend an extrication training with Parkman Township Fire Department and members of Middlefield Fire Department. Trainings like this lets our members work together with the neighboring agencies and get to know one another while furthering education and skills. We are thankful for opportunities like these when we get them.

For fire training the fire department and Parkman Township Fire Department worked together to practice hose advancements in a two story structure along with communication. Teams worked in two to three man companies navigating multiple pinch points.
