We wanted to send out a BIG THANK YOU to the Village of Burtons very own STREET DEPARTMENT!
Marty, Chris and Erik have worked extremely hard planning and shaping the village up for Memorial Day!!
Chris with his experience in gardening put together a gorgeous display of flowers at the gazebo in the square! They range from pinks to purple to even light yellows. The Petunias are planted all around the gazebo and are just beautiful!
THANK YOU CHRIS FOR ALL YOU DO FOR THE VILLAGE!
Marty and Erik planted as well and made sure the square grounds were cut, raked, with nothing out of place.
The cemetery grounds were mowed, and the flowers are in as well.

If you see the Street Department, please stop and say "Thank You". They really work hard for the village ALL YEAR LONG!!!

The Village of Burton has some exciting news coming your way!!!
In June 2026 we will have a new billing system implemented for our residents. This new system will allow for "real time" information!!!
This includes, payments made, notifications of water leaks, possible road closures, as well as usage history plus more!
You can view your statements at any time.
Cant find your bill, no problem! Just log onto the new Customer Portal to view your bill.
Instructions will be mailed to you in the month of June.
The Village of Burton is very excited to bring this to our valued customers!

THIS SATURDAY MAY 9TH IS SPRING PICK-UP IN THE VILLAGE ...
Same rules apply as before;
NO TIRES, GARDEN DEBRIS, BRANCHES, BRUSH, LEAVES, BRICKS,ROCKS, TOXIC CHEMICALS, HAZARDOUS WASTE, PAINT, BATTERIES, ITEMS CONTAINING FREON, ENGINE BLOCKS, OR HEAVY AUTOMOBILE PARTS.
FURNITURE/MATTRESSES MUST BE WRAPPED IN PLASTIC.
ITEMS MUST WEIGH UNDER 150 POUNDS
SMALL DEBRIS MUST BE TIED, BAGGED OR IN CONTAINERS.
MAXIMUM LOAD TIME IS 15 MINUTES PER ADDRESS /
ONCE THE STREET DEPARTMENT HAS LEFT THEY WILL NOT BE BACK..
** ALL ITEMS MUST BE AT THE CURB - MAY 9TH BY 6AM FOR COLLECTION **

The driveway in Welton Cemetery will be paved today - Monday April 20, 2026. We do not know how long the entrance and exit will be coned off.
Please avoid until Village Hall in notified that it is reopened.

SPRING BRUSH PICK-UP IS IN A WEEK!!!! YOU CAN START TAKING YOUR TWIGS OUT TO THE CURB NEXT MONDAY THE 20TH OF APRIL. MAKE SURE ITS IN A NEATLY STACK AND TIED BUNDLE.
NO ROCKS, CANS, GLASS, METALS OF ANY SORT IS ALLOWED.
THIS IS STRICTLY FOR VILLAGE RESIDENTS.

The Village office has received many calls, voice mails and posts from residents regarding the loss of power / electricity when storms hit our area.
The Village of Burton has nothing at all to do with power issues what-so-ever.
Residents need to call the Electric Company who supplies their power.
