We want to give a big thank you to our whole community for your support this past weekend at the community day breakfast making it a record breaking event. Also a huge thanks to Idaville Fire Department for helping make this possible. The rumors are true we are in the process of merging with Idaville Fire Department. By joining forces we will be able to make a stronger department to serve our community better. Again thank you for your support.

This past winter we entered a drawing to win grain bin rescue equipment and training. This equipment is used when a farmer or agricultural worker gets trapped in a grain bin or similar structure. We were recently informed that we won. This coming Wednesday September 4th at 6pm they will deliver the equipment and do our training on using it. We will train in the Fountain Trust bank parking lot. Idaville and Georgetown fire departments will also be joining us.
Indiana Corn Marketing Council and Nationwide Insurance partnered with National Education for Agricultural Safety are the sponsors of this donation. This is about $6000 worth of equipment and training. Stop by Wednesday evening and check it out.
