What a special evening celebrating the people who make Burnet Consolidated Independent School District such an incredible place to learn and grow! 💚

Last week at Burnet High School, we gathered for our annual Personnel Banquet to honor our Campus and Department Employees of the year, recognize staff members receiving Years of Service pins, and celebrate this year's retirees.

This year's service pin recipients represent more than 430 combined years of dedicated service to BCISD - a remarkable reflection of commitment, heart, and excellence poured into our students and schools each day.

We also honored 14 retirees whose careers represent an incredible 348 combined years in education, including 197 years dedicated to BCISD. As part of the tradition, each retiree received a rocking chair as a symbol of appreciation for the lasting impact they've made on generations of students, staff, and families.

Thank you to every employee, retiree, family member, and supporter who helped make the evening so meaningful. We are proud to celebrate the people who are the heart of BCISD!

Part 2 from Monday evening’s BCISD Board Meeting belongs to our incredible students!

Nearly 90 students from across Burnet CISD were recognized for outstanding accomplishments in academics, athletics, leadership, fine arts, and extracurricular competition. From state qualifiers and contest winners to student leaders and team achievements, Monday night was a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and talent represented across our district.

We are incredibly proud of each and every student recognized. Your commitment to excellence reflects the very best of BCISD, and we are honored to celebrate your achievements alongside your families, teachers, coaches, sponsors, and campuses.

Congratulations to all of our students recognized at Monday’s meeting — your Bulldog family is proud of you! 💚

Burnet HS Graduation Information
DATE- Thursday, May 21st at 8:00 p.m.
LOCATION- Bulldog Field

PARKING PLAN
Main parking areas are the Student Activity Center and Burnet Middle School. Please enter the Student Activity Center parking lot through the gate on 3rd street by the marquee. Bulldog Stadium drive will NOT be open for through traffic.
GATES- All gates will open at 7:00 p.m.

BULLDOG STADIUM SEATING PLAN
The graduation stage will be set up in the east end zone (in front of the field house), and students will face the stage. Both sides of the stadium will be open for seating. Seating is not limited or assigned.

INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN
The forecast is a moving target right now, and it does appear that inclement weather is a possibility. If we are unable to hold graduation at Bulldog Stadium due to weather, we will hold graduation in the BHS gym at 8:30pm. Each senior will receive 4 rain tickets. Overflow seating will be in the cafeteria and the auditorium.
8:00pm - Graduation at Bulldog Stadium (weather permitting).
6:30pm - We will make a call to either delay graduation at Bulldog Stadium until 8:30pm or move it to the gym to begin there at 8:30pm.
7:30pm - If we make the call to delay at the stadium, this is the final time we would decide to consider moving to the gym. This gives us the opportunity to try to remain at the stadium if it looks like weather is going to pass between 7:30 and 8:30.
In the event of poor weather, we will communicate any changes to all parents via school messenger as well as post them on the BHS webpage and social media pages.
