Summer is better when we're together ☀️

Burlington Youth and Family Services programs are a great way for students entering grades 5–8 to build connections, try a new hobby, and have some fun along the way. This summer, spots are available for Creative Self and Hiking groups.

These programs are free for Burlington residents! No prior experience is required and groups will meet at their scheduled times at BYFS located at 33 Center Street.

This afternoon on the Town Common, Burlington Police joined fellow officers from Woburn, Wilmington, Chelmsford, Everett, and Peabody to honor a courageous young boy named Maxwell.

Through the incredible work of Cops for Kids with Cancer, a check for $5,500 was presented to help support Maxwell and his family during his cancer journey.

After the presentation, Maxwell, his three sisters, and other children enjoyed spending time with the officers and even some free ice cream!

Today was a reminder of how much kindness exists in our community. When one of our own is facing a challenge, we step up, come together, and show our support. 💙

Last night, the Select Board proclaimed June as Pride Month in Burlington 🏳️‍🌈

As a community that continues to grow and evolve, we’re strengthened by all the people who call it home. This proclamation recognizes the importance of ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and valued, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Pride Month is an opportunity to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and the diversity of experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives that help shape our town. We're proud to honor Pride Month and reaffirm our commitment to building a more inclusive Burlington.
