* Advocated and worked with the Burlington Police on response protocol in handling Mental Health calls(To date 477 calls have been handled without incident )

*Chaired the Burlington Parks & Recreation Commission

*Championed the Pennies for Parks drive which has been very successful under Miro's leadership (More than 60 completed projects)

*Played an instrumental role to help make the Miller Cen

ter a reality in the New North End

*Fought to protect the Natural Habitat at Leddy Park and it's walking trails

*For more than 20 years Dave has been the District 1 Rep. for Little League Baseball including 14 towns & cities

*Co-Founder with Gary Rogers of Burlington Parks and Rec of the McNeil's Wheels AAU Basketball league

*Working to bring Challenge Baseball to Burlington for children with disabilities , the first of its kind in Vermont

*Working together with community leaders to make sure that Burlington City Kids After School Program continued to be successful through the transition from a Parks & Rec program to a school program

*Leading a tripartisan campaign (Democrats, Independents, Republicans) to repeal IRV/instant runoff voting

I spent the weekend going door to door collecting signatures and talking to many of my New North End neighbors.
