on February 9, 2006 at 0452 in the morning the Burlington Township Fire Department was dispatched to Walnut Ave for a structure fire with people trapped. On arrival of our fire officer a women came outside screaming, “He’s In There.”. Hobbling behind her was a elderly male. In would be a few minutes later that our crews would find Burlington Twp. Firefighter, Ed Marbet who succumbed to the smoke after rescue his finance’ and handicapped father. Ed died giving the ultimate sacrifice. His bravery will always be the standard our firefighters perform to. ed our love for you will never fade.

Monday, Oct. 21: As of 6 a.m., the New Jersey Forest Fire Service has implemented statewide Stage 3 Fire Restrictions statewide in response to prolonged dry conditions and increased wildfire activity.

STAGE 3 FIRE RESTRICTIONS
🚫🔥 All fires will be prohibited unless contained in an elevated stove using only propane, natural gas, gas, or electricity.
🚫🔥 No charcoal fires are allowed.
