Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 20 at 6:43PM MDT until June 20 at 7:00PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS
SUMMARY:

At 643 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles west of Brewster to 15 miles south of Goodland
to 9 miles north of Sharon Springs to 8 miles northeast of Cheyenne
Wells, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
These severe storms will be near...
Weskan around 650 PM MDT.
Sharon Springs around 655 PM MDT.
Wallace around 700 PM MDT.
Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Edson
and Arapahoe.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 8 and 35.
Highway 385 between mile markers 148 and 173.
AFFECTS: Cheyenne, CO; Kit Carson, CO; Sherman, KS; Wallace, KS
INSTRUCTION: A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for east central
Colorado...and northwestern and west central Kansas.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
These thunderstorms will produce strong winds resulting in areas of
near zero visibility in blowing dirt. Use extreme caution if you must
travel and be alert for rapidly changing visibility.
