Be advised that on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Burlington City Public Works will be shutting down Mill Road from Wood Street to Cox Farm Road to repair a water main break.

The Burlington County Health Department is declaring a Code Blue Weather Emergency from 7 PM Monday, November 15, until 7 AM Wednesday, November 17.

A Code Blue declaration is made in Burlington County when frigid weather conditions pose a threat of serious harm or death to individuals or families without shelter. During the declaration, the County provides for short-term sheltering in clean, safe locations.

Residents in need of shelter are encouraged to call the Burlington County Board of Social Services at 609-261-1000 or the Burlington County Housing Hub at 609-265-5185. Staff there will direct callers to the most appropriate shelter. Afterhours or on weekends or holidays, call 211 for assistance.

⚠⛈ A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for much of our region until 10 PM. A line of storms is forecast to develop and move into the area late this afternoon and into the evening. The main threat will be damaging winds, but hail up to quarter size may be possible as well. Keep an eye on the weather this evening and remain alert for possible warnings!

Register Ready is a free, secure, voluntary database designed to help emergency managers and first responders plan for and support people with disabilities and access and functional needs (DAFN) who may need assistance in the event of a disaster.
