Join us at Skagit River Park on Friday, May 29 as the City of Burlington is featured on FOX 13 Seattle Good Day Seattle Zip Trips!

FOX 13 Seattle have been exploring Burlington and highlighting all the amazing things that make our community special, from Skagit River Park, the inclusive playground, and RC track to our Fairhaven businesses, public art, the Children’s Museum, and so much more. They’ll also be showcasing one of Burlington’s favorite traditions, Berry Dairy Days, including the iconic Burlington Lawn Mower Races.

The live show begins around 10am, followed by a community meet and greet from around 11am to Noon. We’d love to see our community come together and show off our Burlington pride!

Skagit Adventist Academy shared some photos from the volunteer clean-up they helped with at Green Hills Cemetery last week. We’re so thankful for students and community members who take the time to help care for these important spaces. 🥰

In observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, Burlington Parks & Recreation will be closed.

As our community takes time to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, our Parks Department has been working hard to prepare and beautify Green Hills Memorial Cemetery for families and visitors.

We know Memorial Day is a meaningful time for many in our community, and we are honored to help provide a welcoming place to reflect and remember loved ones. Park staff will also be available at the cemetery on Monday to assist with any questions during your visit.
