It has been brought to our attention that scammers are calling people and impersonating Deputy Jailers again to solicit money to get their loved ones out of jail. These recent attempts have involved contacting the families of recently incarcerated individuals. Please remember that we will NEVER take bond money, or any type of payment, over the phone, by cash app, or gift cards. All bonds must be paid in person at the jail by cash or cashier's check. You can always check our website https://www.boonecountyky.org/.../county.../jailer/index.php or call to verify if someone is actually in jail. Please do not give these people your money!
