You’re not doing summer right if you don’t come to the HOTTEST event in town! 😎 We are excited to officially announce the Fire & Splash Summer Bash presented by Burlington Fire Department, Drake Hardware & Software, and Elks Lodge 84!

Hiiii Burlington, meet Erica Alvarez! She’s getting close to her two-year mark at BFD as a firefighter/EMT! Erica wanted to be a first responder because she wanted to serve a purpose bigger than herself. We think that’s super admirable! 🥹

When Erica isn’t helping out at the station, she enjoys disc golfing with her son and friends.🥇

How’s the day going, Burlington? We think some of you may know this guy! 🤔 If not, meet Battalion Chief Luke Sneller. He has been with BFD for 19 years and is absolutely an asset around the firehouse!

When Luke isn’t putting his time in at BFD he enjoys going to Burlington Bees games and cheering our local team on. 🙌🏼⚾️
