If you haven’t filled out & turned in any of these forms and are planning to show animals at the KCC Fair, YOU ARE NOT ENTERED!

This includes 4-H/FFA beef, goats, sheep, swine, horse, rabbits & poultry; Open Class Primary bucket calf, lamb, goat, lead line, rabbit & poultry; and Open Class Sheep Lead.

Entry deadline is 5:00 pm Wednesday, July 1st. Any entries after this deadline will have to pay a $20 late fee PER CLASS! (Juneteenth is NOT a holiday for our county offices. We will be open from 8-4.)

It’s easy to think “0h, we have plenty of time.” But when we have 60+ families (100+ members) who have not yet turned in their entries, please don’t ask us if we’re ready for Fair. WE’RE NOT!! It takes some time to input all the entries into the computer, proof them all, and get the lists ready for the superintendent meeting for them to do stall assignments.

Also, still waiting on over half of the Cow Patty Bingo tickets to come in. 🙁

Just a reminder for those enrolled in 4-H Upcycle Your Style or Foods projects (does not include Primary members): If you haven't already turned it in, your pre-entry form is due in the Extension Office by 4:00 Friday, June 26th to enable us to get the judging schedules done & sent. Thanks!

Today is the last day to sign up! Come join us for some fun crafting!

Registration is open! 4-H members ages 8–18 are invited to join a fun craft day hosted by Heidi Ridnour. Participants will be able to visit the website, choose the project they would like to create, and pay the project fee. Most projects will cost around $15, though some may be less depending on the project selected.
Two sessions will be available:
• Morning Session: 9:00–11:00 a.m.
• Afternoon Session: 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Register by June 17th.
This will be a great opportunity for youth to get creative, learn new skills, and have fun with fellow 4-H members. If you have any questions please let call McKayla at the Extension Office 719-346-5571
