Thank you all for the votes and support you gave me. This has been a wonderful experience. Even though I am not your new mayor, this will not stop me from helping my community. I am still the 1st district's alderperson. I will continue to work for my district and my community as an elected official. Big things will be coming. Thank you again for your support.

Tomorrow is the big day. I'm very proud to be a part of this journey. There are so many supportive people in this community. It has been a wonderful experience. is kind and they have shown it. When I was out going door to door, I had a few people tell me they knew my opponent, Jon Schultz, very well. I didn't argue or bash Jon. That is not me or who I am. In fact, I was the exact opposite, I told them, "Great! Thank you for taking the time to answer the door and remember to vote." Jon and I showed the community and those communities surrounding us that we can have a kind and positive election.

Thank you to all who proudly put up my election signs in their yards. Thank you to my friends who helped me go door to door. Thank you, Jeannie Hefty, for helping me get to this journey. Thank you to my dear friend, Dave and his team, for the wonderful job on the marketing designs. Thank you to my campaign manager, Julie Busch, and my committee. And most importantly, thank you to my husband who has supported me more than ever.

Please make sure you vote tomorrow. Polls are open from 7am to 8pm at Veterans Terrace. Remember, every vote counts.

I remember participating in Safety Town as a child. We were happy as parents to have this opportunity for our children when they were young. I’m so glad we still have this program today and hope it continues for many more years. Thank you Burlington Kiwanis Club and Burlington WI Police Department for making this event happen.

Who is excited for SAFETY TOWN!!! 🎉

If you are new to the area, or don’t know about this amazing event, Safety Town 🚔 is an educational program that introduces safety 🚧 awareness and emergency 🚒prevention procedures to children ages 5 & 6. A miniature layout of a community 🏘 is built, to the scale of a young child. Safety 🚦 lessons are taught through actual demonstrations and participation.

This year, Safety Town will be June 10th through June 21st. It will be held at Dyer Elementary School. There are three sessions available for your child to attend.

Morning Session 8:30 am to 10:00 am
Morning Session 10:30 am to 12:00 pm
Afternoon Session 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm

It was amazing to see the community to come together and help a small business move their entire store yesterday. Thank you to friends and Burlington Menswear WI, in the Loop and Danny Z’s Wood working and more for your time and efforts. I love my community.
