Burlington is located at the crossroads of Plank, Peplow, French and Burlington Roads, all County routes. Incorporated in 1906, Burlington is a small but growing town in a rural setting with great schools, nice folks, and large open spaces. Parks, recreation trails and ample open space give this growing town plenty of breathing room.

Per the US National Weather Service Chicago Illinois :

We're expecting two more rounds of severe storms today. Please watch and listen for alerts as well as the weather in your area.

The first round will be between 11 AM (west of I-39) to 3 PM (near Lake Michigan) with a threat for destructive winds and hail.
The second round will be between 4 and 11 PM with a threat for all hazards. This includes a threat for strong tornadoes, particularly near a warm front. The position of the warm front remains an item of lower confidence and our forecast currently has it making toward the Wisconsin state line. However, it may be as far south as I-80. Widespread destructive winds may occur across parts of the area with the storms during the second round, as well.
Have a plan and be ready to take action! Take tornado warnings seriously, and have multiple ways to get warning information today.
