We are looking for Sponsors and Food Vendors!

Let’s celebrate!

This is more than an event—it’s a party 250 years in the making,
and the celebration starts long before the Fourth of July in Burley!

Known in the past for fantastic 4th of July fireworks, this year BURLEY is celebrating evenbigger. In honor of America’s 250th anniversary and the freedoms we enjoy, we’re turning this into a full season of community celebration.

In the weeks leading up to the 4th, the whole city will get involved with festive activities like a community-wide window decorating contest, a youth essay contest celebrating patriotism and freedom, and more!

Then, on the Fourth, we’ll cap it all off with an unforgettable evening—featuring live music from native Idahoan
Heath Owens, a pre-show of local performers, food vendors, kids’ activities, and a high-energy, red-white-and-blue atmosphere that leads into Burley’s signature fireworks finale.

Still accepting Sponsors for:
ESSAY CONTEST- $400
KIDS ZONE (4) - $300 (+ supplies you will need for your booth)
CO****LE TOURNAMENT - $400
VOLUNTEER TENT - $300

Sponsorship fees cover costs associated with running the activity, prizes, giveaways, print marketing with your logo.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Doug Manning, a truly dedicated public servant and friend to so many in our community.

Doug gave his heart to the City of Burley, serving as Mayor and later as a member of the City Council. He also spent fifteen years as the City’s Economic Development Coordinator and served many years on the Burley Development Authority (BDA) Board.

Doug wasn’t just a leader—he was someone who genuinely cared about people and this community. He brought creativity, energy, and a sense of humor to his work, and he always looked for ways to make Burley an even better place to live.

He will be greatly missed, and his impact will continue to be felt throughout our city.

With heartfelt condolences to the Manning family, friends, and all who knew and loved him — from your friends at City Hall.
