5/24/26 at 8:59 PM Thank you for your patience. The carnival and concert will resume. The carnival will only be selling tickets for activities and not wrist bands.

For the safety of our guests and staff, carnival rides are temporarily paused due to lightning detected within a 10-mile radius. Ride operations will resume once we have been lightning-free for 30 minutes.

We will make updates as we can.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we follow these safety precautions. In the meantime, enjoy the food, games and entertainment while we wait for the weather to pass.

Burleson Fire/EMS extends our gratitude to Texas Health Burleson for stopping by and dropping off some blankets for our personnel during this years !

We are joined by OT, our mental health doggy that stops by for lots of pets and “good boy” compliments occasionally. When OT stops by our stations, the smiles on the faces and the endless games of fetch makes it obvious that our personnel appreciate him coming around.

Thank you Texas Health and thank you OT!

Hey BTX, is this week, we want to kick it off with a few EMS statistics of ours. As it goes, with growth in population, comes growth in emergency calls.

Fun fact: Burleson Fire/EMS runs just shy of 10,000 total calls per year out of 3 stations, with 3 ambulances available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and one peak-hours ambulance staffed out of Station 1. Each ambulance is staffed with at least 1 Paramedic and 1 EMT, allowing for advanced life-support capabilities. As our department grows, we hire more paramedics, and more EMTs are sent to school for paramedic-level education and credentialing, so that our community is getting the best possible care at all times of the day.
