🐾🎉 Bobcat Nation, help us give a BIG BRANSOM BOBCAT welcome to our newest Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Hannah Bell! 🎉🐾

We are excited to welcome Ms. Bell to the Bransom family, and what makes her story even more special is that she is a former Bransom Bobcat herself! From walking these halls as a student to returning as a teacher, Ms. Bell is truly coming home.

Ms. Bell was raised right here in Burleson and graduated from Tarleton State University. She has a passion for working hands-on with students and inspiring them to be the very best they can be each day. Her enthusiasm for learning, dedication to children, and love for our community make her a perfect addition to our Bobcat Family.

When she's not in the classroom, Ms. Bell enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Duke. Ms. Bell shared that she "can't wait to grow as a teacher with my Bobcat Family," and we couldn't be more excited to have her join us on this journey.

Welcome home, Ms. Bell! We know you are going to make a lasting impact on our youngest Bobcats. ❤️💙🐾

Bobcat Nation! We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Houk to the Bransom Elementary family as our new Assistant Principal! Mrs. Houk is a dedicated wife, mom, and leader who is deeply passionate about helping both students and teachers grow. She brings a wealth of experience to our campus, starting her career at Burleson High School as an English teacher before serving as the College and Career Readiness Coordinator. In 2023, she transitioned into campus leadership as an elementary assistant principal at Norwood Elementary. Mrs. Houk firmly believes that great schools are built through strong relationships, a little creativity, and a lot of heart. She is incredibly excited to join Bobcat Nation and looks forward to growing, learning, and celebrating alongside the Bransom community. Please join us in giving Mrs. Houk a warm Bobcat welcome to the beautiful side of I-35! 💙❤️

Let’s hear it for our 2026 Math Bee winners!!! Congratulations to our 1st Place winner, Grae, and our 2nd Place winner, Max! 🎉

These two students showed incredible problem-solving skills, determination, and math knowledge throughout the competition. We are so proud of the hard work they put in to earn this outstanding achievement!

Way to represent Bransom and show that Bobcats are smart, competitive, and ready to take on any challenge!

Today was extra special as our seniors returned to where it all began for their Senior Walk! The halls may look a little smaller now, but the memories are still just as big. Our elementary students loved cheering on these graduates and seeing what they can become one day.

Mr. Balentine had a substitute today and boy did she do an amazing job! She evaluated teachers, helped organize a performance by the Kerr Choir, watched some presentations by our TAG students, and much much more. Great job Ms. York! Mr. Mason may have some competition as principal next year.

Day 5 of Teacher Appreciation week would not be complete without our friends at Walmart Supercenter Burleson and Manager Phillip Shelton and his team. Each year they donate all the groceries for our annual Teacher Appreciation Cookout. From the hotdogs, veggies, buns, condiments, drinks, desserts and more, Phillip and his team at Walmart make this day extra special and much appreciated by the teachers and staff of Bobcat Nation. Of course, it wouldn't be a cookout without the culinary chops of Mr. Balentine and Mr. Mason.

The Packers duck was all over Bransom today and 4 lucky teachers won some fabulous gift cards and prizes in our final day of Teacher Appreciation week. Congratulations to Mrs. Kincannon, Mrs. Smallwood, Ms. Meaghan and Mrs. Wilson. Thank you to our awesome Academy of the Arts at Bransom PTO and Mrs. Hair for sourcing all of our gift cards and prizes all year long!
