NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual Election for the Village of Burke will be held at the Burke Fire Station, 1041 East Main St., in the Village of Burke on WEDNESDAY March 18, 2026 between the hours of 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM and that at such election, the following office is to be elected:

MAYOR - 2 Years
Candidate for Office: Greg Perrigo
TRUSTEE - 2 Years
Candidate for Office: Gary Lewis

By resolution of the Burke Village Board pursuant to Election Law § 15-104-1b which states that when the 3rd Tuesday of March falls on March 17 (St. Patrick's Day), the election shall take place on March 18. Resolved by the village board on 01/07/2026.

We're sure you all are aware of the potentially dangerous weather and extreme cold heading our way for this weekend.

In the event that we lose power, the Burke fire station will be manned as a warming center.

Please take every precaution and be safe this weekend. Do not attempt to heat your homes in a manner that could lead to a fire or carbon monoxide poisoning.

Meet Savana Li, the new village water superintendent! Savana comes to us with all the necessary state licenses and certifications. She is currently also serving as water superintendent of Keene, NY.
