Location: Burgaw Town Center (108 E.Wilmington St.)

Our presenter will be Jon Stewart Taylor and the topic will be beginners astronomy. A free catered lunch will be provided.

Many residents have questions about Pender County's 2026 property revaluation, Senate Bill 889, and how these changes may affect the Town's budget and property taxes.

To help explain the situation, the Town of Burgaw has prepared a brief resident guide outlining what has happened, what the proposed legislation means, and how the Town is responding as we work to finalize the FY 2026-27 budget.

We are only one week away! Make sure to register soon for our team puzzle competition. Details below:

Teams of 2–4 people will race to complete a 750-piece puzzle before the other teams.

Location: Burgaw Town Center
Date: June 17
Time: 6:00–8:00 PM
Cost: $25 per team

Advance registration is required and space is limited to 10 teams total. Teams will register together as one group — not individually.
All ages are welcome!
