As part of National Bicycle and Motorcycle Safety Month, the Burbank Police Department conducted a Bicycle and Motorcycle Safety Operation focusing on the safe and lawful operation of electric motor-driven cycles throughout the City of Burbank.

These vehicles have become a growing safety concern due to improper operation and lack of required equipment. Although electric, these cycles are not considered “e-bikes.”

The Burbank Police Department remains committed to educating the public and promoting roadway safety for everyone who travels in our community.
