Our usual downpours can turn roads hazardous in a matter of seconds. Keep these essential wet-weather driving tips in mind before hitting the road:
1. Slow Down: Reduced traction means longer stopping distances 🐌
2. Leave Extra Space: Keep a generous cushion between your vehicle and the one ahead ↔️
3. Never Drive Through Flooded Areas: Turn around, don't drown! High water can sweep cars away and hide washed-out roads 🌊
4. Avoid Cruise Control: Using cruise control on wet roads can increase your risk of hydroplaning and losing control 🚫
