🐾 JR. WILDCATS ARE ON THE RISE! 🐾

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Bunn Elementary School has officially earned a School Performance Grade "B" for the 2026 school year! 🏆✨

📈 Grade B Status: Upgraded from a 'C' last year to a prestigious 'B' with a Performance Score of 70! 🚀 Double-Digit Growth: Grade Level Proficiency (GLP) surged by 10.3 percentage points, climbing from 58.4% to 68.7%! 🔢 Math Champions: A breathtaking 80.1% of BES students achieved proficiency in Math! 🔬 Science Superstars: Science proficiency soared to 74.7%! 📚 Literacy Leaders: Reading proficiency climbed to 56.9%!

This success is the result of tireless dedication from teachers, the hard work of brilliant Jr. Wildcats, and the unwavering support of Bunn families. We are so proud of this community as we continue Growing Forward Together!

Did you hear the "B"uzz??? BES made a B on the state report card and our amazing PTA, thought some "B" themed snacks were the perfect celebration! It was a great way to kick off our Friday!!!

🎓 90.6% graduation rate, a 10-year high
📐 NC Math 1: 50.7%,ranking #2 in our region
📖 Grade 4 Reading: 59.4%, above the state average
🧪 Grade 5 Science: 70.5%, above the state average
📈 75% of our schools met or exceeded growth
