BES Pre-K wrapped up our Beginning of the Year Study with a pizza-tastic week! We enjoyed reading Crazy Pizza Day by Bonnie Dobkin, using clues to guess who each pizza was for. In our Art center, our scholars became pizza artists, designing their own creations and sharing their ingredients and lucky recipients. On Thursday our "Mystery Reader" was Mrs. Erin Reid, of Buell Street Pizza. She read the story Pete the Cat and the Pizza Party by James and Kimberly Dean. She then gave us a hands-on pizza-making experience, followed by drawing the steps they had learned.
A heartfelt thank you Mrs. Reid for taking the time to visit our classroom and share this wonderful experience with our scholars. We appreciate you helping make our end of the study celebration so memorable!
