As part of 2nd Grade's world culture unit, students read Where on Earth is My Bagel? and explored how food can connect us to different places and traditions.

Thanks to the generosity of Jeff’s Bagel Run (Rolesville), our students were able to bring the story to life by trying their very own New York-style bagels! From observing textures to tasting new flavors, students made meaningful connections between the story and their own experiences.

Today is also School Lunch Hero Day! We were able to celebrate ourselves today and be served by the absolute Lunch Heroes around! The Bunn Elementary Nutrition Staff is absolutely amazing and we celebrate them today!
