When concerns about BCSD schools continuing to use LifeTouch for school photographs first arose, we and legal teams from other school districts researched the specifics. LifeTouch is one of many companies in which Apollo Global Management invests. In fact, there are many companies here in the Tri-State area ... as well as around the world ... that AGM currently invests, or has in the past.

AGM does not directly manage those companies, including LifeTouch.

Leon Black, AGM's former CEO, who has been implicated in the Epstein situation, had no direct connection to LifeTouch nor did LifeTouch ever employ him. He left AGM five years ago. Thus, we do not feel that LifeTouch or its local franchisees should be held accountable for Mr. Black's alleged conduct.

Our student protection policies remain in place for all of our vendors, including LifeTouch.

Forms went home last week. There is no money due at this time. All students will get their picture taken and a proof with a code to order online will go home once they are ready.
