WOW! What an event last night 🤯

We just want to say thank you to everyone who came to our first Data and Dinner night last night. We were blown away by the turnout of over 400 attendees! We appreciate all of your patience and understanding as we strive to make this brand new student-centered, academic-driven event a success.

We hope to see just as many at the Quarter 2 event… be on the lookout because we’re doubling down on data, doubling down on dinner, and doubling down on fun 🎉

Thursday, September 10th is our Parent-Teacher Conference Day, so there will be no school for students.

Teachers will be reaching out to families to schedule conference times. We look forward to connecting with you and partnering together to support your child's success!

We’re introducing something NEW to Desert Valley this year…DV FAMILY EVENT PUNCH CARDS! 🎟️

Families who attend our Dinner & Data Event will receive a brand new punch card and their first punch. Then, you can earn more for every school event you attend throughout the year. Once you collect 8 punches, turn your completed card into the school office for a chance to win a Family Fun Pack at the end of the year! 🎉

But we’re kicking things off with a little extra fun… 👀 One lucky family who attends Wednesday’s event will win a Family Fun Pack to start the year!

The Scholastic Book Fair begins next week!
Students will get a chance to preview the Book Fair during Library classes Monday–Wednesday!

🛍️ First shopping opportunity: Students and families attending Dinner & Data on Wednesday, September 2nd will get exclusive early access to shop the fair!

After our event, students can shop:
📖 During their Library class
📖 Daily from 2:50–3:20 PM

The Book Fair will also be open to students and families during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, September 10th from 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
