9/12: Buffalo Canvass Kickoff 😤

We’re getting back to work knocking doors and talking to neighbors about our movement for a healthy, housed, and affordable Western New York. Join us next Saturday, September 12th at Prospect Park for our canvass kickoff before we knock doors across Buffalo! Water, sunscreen, and a campaign t-shirt provided. ☀️

(And, word on the street is we’re heading to Custard Corner after the canvass to soak up the last bits of summer🍦)

Big weekend in the books! Started out by speaking to Buffalo DSA’s largest new member orientation ever, stood with Kristen Gonzalez for New York and community stakeholders to kick off the Fight AI Data Centers tour, and finished out with our volunteer appreciation event Indigo Chapel 😮‍💨

Hey, on that last point… we’ll be ready to hit the ground running in September knocking doors and phone banking. Keep an eye out for kickoff dates soon 👀

Summer Photo Dump ☀️

Team Bojak has been everywhere the past few weeks, taking in the best of what District 149 has to offer in the summer. We handed out candy at the Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day parade, met VOICE Buffalo’s youth team, took part in the Karen wrist-tying ceremony, made friends at summer fundraisers, and (of course) had fun at the Fair!

It’s almost time again to knock doors, but before that, we’ll be out and about in the district, building our coalition and hearing from YOU.

Join us on 9/2 in Hamburg Alchemy Wine & Beer or 9/8 in Buffalo Jack Rabbit, to support our fight against the far right in the general election.

We do fundraisers differently. Instead of extravagant events that lock out the working class, our suggested donation begins at just $26 (plus, all are welcome, regardless of your ability to pay).
