People's Park

People's Park A park & community garden on Main St. in Buffalo, NY where neighbors can “garden, gather & grow."

Since opening to the public in 2006, People's Park has been a place for the community to enjoy being outdoors, relax in a safe and comfortable setting, get to know their neighbors, and participate in enriching activities. People’s Park features raised garden beds; a variety of native plants; a pollinator house; a 30-seat amphitheater; a small play area; a LittleFreeLibrary; and 2 large public art installations. People's Park hosts various art and science programs, community gardening, reading groups, concerts, and social events.

The replacement clothesline & extra clothespins are up at the Mitten Fence at People's Park! If you have extra cold-weather accessories you’d like to donate, just bag them up (to keep them dry) & hang them on the fence. If you’d like to donate a large number of items, please message us.
