Erie County Veteran Services Welcome to our page! If you're looking for the official website of the Erie County Veterans

Originated in 1926, The Erie County Veterans Service Agency was the first of its kind in the State of New York. Due to the increased demand for such services, and accelerated by World War II, the Agency became a part of the County Government on January 1, 1945. Since that time, this office has provided service to many thousands of veterans and their dependents, residing in Erie County.

💜 During National Su***de Prevention Week, we recognize the importance of mental health and remind veterans, service members, and their loved ones that they are never alone.

Su***de prevention starts with connection, compassion, and access to support. If you or a veteran you know is struggling, help is available 24/7 through the Veterans Crisis Line by calling or texting 988 and pressing 1, or by chatting online at VeteransCrisisLine.net.

Seeking help is a sign of strength. Together, we can reduce stigma, encourage conversations about mental health, and ensure those who served our nation receive the support they deserve.
