Hello sweetie pies! The leaves are turning and there is a pre holiday chill in the air. It's getting close to Thanksgiving and that means our community pie collection for the Buffalo City Mission. Please send me a note letting me know if you are interested in sponsoring a neighborhood, school, team, work etc collection. Collection bins from FeedMore WNY are arriving tomorrow 2/9/24. Please add peanut butter to you grocery list and drop jars off at 101 Livingston Pkwy in Snyder, New York. We are a drop off site to help support Feedmore WNY collect jars of PB through the month of February to stock local food pantries for families and individuals in need of nutritional support. Thanks a ton!

So happy we have another opportunity to help families in WNY - and it's super easy! FeedMore WNY has launched their "Spread The Love" campaign again this year. All of February they are collecting jars of peanut butter to stock local food pantries and we've decided to be a community collection site. Please add a few jars of peanut butter, any brand, smooth or crunchy to your grocery list and swing by to drop it off! Friday, February 9 through Sunday, February 25 we will have collection barrels at 101 Livingston Pkwy in Snyder. Many hands make light work ✌️❤🥜🥜THANK YOU

And here we go... **twist for 2022** -- Pie It Forward is back with our community pie collection! Thanks to JAM Parkside for partnering with us again this year - you are awesome🥰 Our goal is 900 pies - apple, pumpkin or sweet potato - and it's gonna take OUR village to collect all of these pies...Here's the twist... ***ALL pies need to be store/bakery bought or commercially baked due to some post Covid food safety concerns. Please talk w your friends/family/co workers/kids schools and teams - the need is tremendous this year - luckily here's an easy way to help. back in 2006 my dad campaigned with Tom Suozzi for NYS Gov leading up to the Democratic primary against Elliot Spitzer. Today, Suozzi is running in the Democratic primary for Governor again. I haven't yet decided who I will vote for in this primary but I will be doing my best to consider the choices. There is a lot to be considered. I am interested in listening to a candidate for Governor who appears to be a little closer to my way of thinking, a little more center/moderate on the big issues that affect all of us. I will go and listen to what Suozzi has to say on Sat morning at 9:30 here in Buffalo - Olympic Restaurant on Military Rd. If you are interested meet me there. We say we want choices when we vote - here's an opportunity.
