September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month—a time to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote mental health and well-being. 💚Across Minnesota, communities are working to strengthen su***de prevention and expand access to mental health support. Through SHIP, local communities can also receive support and funding for projects that promote mental health, well-being, connection, and healthier communities.
In Wright County, resources such as the Community Support Program and Mental Health Advisory Council help connect residents with support and address local mental health needs. The Community Support Program provides assistance to adults with social, educational, recreational, and daily living needs. For more information, contact Central Minnesota Mental Health Center at 763-682-4400. The Mental Health Advisory Council works to identify gaps and advocate for local mental health needs.
