Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, law enforcement officers, firefighters, and everyday Americans who ran toward danger to help others.

We also remember the families who have carried that loss for 25 years and the men and women who answered our nation’s call in the years that followed.

May we never forget the lives lost, and the unity and strength America showed in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

One year ago today, Charlie Kirk was taken from us in an act of violence while speaking up for the values he believed in.

We miss Charlie, his courage, and his unwavering conviction. His voice may be gone, but his example lives on, and we are proud to continue fighting for the values he championed.

Legislator Frank Todaro is speaking out in today’s Buffalo News about the decision to move the Department of Homeland Security job fair from the Buffalo Convention Center.

Mark Poloncarz abused his authority, and job seekers, local businesses, and our entire region paid the price. At a time when Western New York needs more jobs and opportunity, our leaders should be opening doors, not closing them.
