Despite today's treacherous weather, community members joined us for a Hard Hat Tour of our Hope on Main project to see firsthand the incredible progress being made. We are excited to share that Phase 1 - our new Family Shelter - is now 75% complete!

Attendees had the opportunity to walk through the future space, learn about the impact this project will have, and discover how they can help instill hope in our community. The enthusiasm and support shown today remind us that together, we can create lasting change for those who need it most.

Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to be part of this exciting milestone. The future of Hope on Main is taking shape, and we can't wait to continue this journey with you.

Help local students thrive by donating to our School Supply Drive 7/6- 8/3! With your help, The Salvation Army of Buffalo, NY will pack over 500 backpacks for local children heading back-to-school. Your donation helps struggling parents provide essential school supplies, ensuring children can focus on learning.

Today, we celebrate a sweet tradition that began with The Salvation Army's "Donut Lassies," who served donuts and comfort to soldiers during World War I.

This week, Major Annette Lock, and Laura Genco, Director of Leadership Giving, had the privilege of joining Judge Penny Wolfgang on WBEN to share the mission of The Salvation Army and provide an exciting update on the Hope on Main project. The conversation highlighted how Hope on Main is transforming lives by creating safe shelter, supportive housing, and pathways to stability for families experiencing homelessness in Buffalo. We are grateful to Penny and WBEN for helping us raise awareness of this important work and the impact it will have on our community for generations to come.
