Absentee voting starts today across South Dakota. Since this is the General Election all registered voters are allowed to vote regardless of party. Harding County has two local races on the ballot - the County Auditor position and the HC 31-1 school bond issue. Another exciting day in the neighborhood….our wonderful volunteer fire departments battled a grass fire south/southwest of Buffalo in this wind (we are tired of wind). They managed to keep the Thompson power line fire are 215 acres. Bravo people BRAVO!! Stay aware everyone- the wind is supposed to blow again tomorrow. Thanks to all that showed up 💕💕💕

25 years……it is still so real. Even though we remember it is amazing how we have forgotten. The one bright spot from the 9-11 attacks was it brought our nation together. We stood united. We held each other up. We remembered who we are and what we stood for. It is time we do that again. We have turned into our own worst enemy lately and we act like we are about to self implode. The good in all of us is still there…let’s not need another 9-11 to remind us. God bless our nation and the people who live here 💕
