Today I had the chance to be part of the ribbon cutting at the Bills New Highmark Stadium. Today was a day of celebration to all who worked on this massive project. Hopeful for many wins and a Super Bowl in the near future!

Today I stopped by Sheridan Park Fire to drop off an AED. These volunteers are the heartbeat of our community stepping up during any emergency that is ongoing. Having proper working equipment is crucial during a potential life-saving event.

🚧Work is progressing along Elmwood Ave in the Village of Kenmore/Town of Tonawanda.

Contractors continue drainage improvements & curb installation as part of the ongoing rehabilitation project. Lane restrictions are in place and traffic patterns will shift as work advances. Slow down, stay alert & follow posted signs when traveling through the work zone.

Town Sewer & Water Department crews are making water main repairs at Knoche and Military roads today (Tuesday, June 16, 2026). Traffic will be shifted turning on to Knoche from Military and there will be one turn lane from Knoche on to Military headed south. Please use caution when traveling in this area.

Today I stopped by Papi's Waterfront and Beach Bar for their Grand Opening at Niawanda Park. A great location on the waterfront with a full bar and food menu! I would recommend everyone to come down and check it out this summer!

Today I had the chance to honor Peter Tripi on his retirement after nearly 40 years of service to the County! Pete was apart of the Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) from being a public health aide to becoming the Associate Public Heath Sanitarian. I would like to thank Pete for all he has done for the County and wish him the best in retirement!
