Share your feedback on the draft ADA Transition Plan! πŸ§‘β€πŸ¦Όβ€πŸ§‘β€πŸ¦―πŸ’¬

The Village is developing an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan for its public right-of-ways. The plan will help identify barriers to accessibility along Village-maintained sidewalks, curb ramps, crosswalks and other pedestrian facilities, and establish a framework for addressing those barriers over time.

The plan will help guide future improvements and prioritize accessibility upgrades as infrastructure projects are planned, and we want to hear from you!

➑️ Learn more about the process and share your feedback at www.vbg.org/adatransition.

Remembering the events of September 11, 2001 πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Today, we come together as a Village and as a nation to remember the images of neighbors selflessly helping neighbors, the bravery and dedication of first responders who rushed into burning buildings to save others, and the memory of all the innocent lives we lost that tragic day.

'Patriot Day' as it has come to be known, is designated as September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. Americans of all ages and backgrounds are invited to join and lead community service projects to unite and honor the lives and service of those we lost 25 years ago today.
