Dust off your lawn chairs and get your red, white, and blue ready! This year isn't just any Independence Day... It’s the 250th Birthday of the USA, and we’re doing the Buffalo Gap Annual 4th of July Parade up bigger and better than ever before.

Once the parade wraps up, the fun is just getting started:

🌧️ RAIN UPDATE! 🌧️
We have a slight rain delay for our tent setup (thank you Lord for the rain!), so our schedule is shifting just a bit. We will now be fully set up between 5:00 PM – 10:30 PM! The full event is still on, we are just pushing back OUR start time.

See you around the Gap! 📍🦬 There is so much heart in our town, and this weekend is popping! From honoring our veterans to supporting our local farmers' market, every event this weekend is a chance to connect with your neighbors who make Buffalo Gap so special.

What’s happening:
🇺🇸 Give Back: Help us place flags at the Cemetery (Sat, 9 AM).
🚜 Shop Fresh: Visit the Farmers Market at the Buffalo Gap Hardware and Supply (Sat morning).
🛍️ Discover: Explore Buffalo Gap Trade Days and our local shops all weekend long.
🐟 Support: Grab a plate at the Buffalo Gap VFD Fish Fry (Sat, 5-8 PM).

Let’s fill our town with support and show some love to the people and places that keep the Gap going strong.

What a great glimpse into our history! We have always loved the Buffalo Gap Presbyterian Camp.

Abilene Rewind: This photo offers an early look at people enjoying an afternoon of swimming at the Buffalo Gap Presbyterian Encampment—a place where summer memories have been made for many a year. 🌞

Founded in 1921, the encampment has long served as a gathering place for the community. Over the years, the encampment has hosted summer camps, retreats, and family reunions, continuing a tradition of fellowship, fun, and connection in the heart of West Texas.

Photos like this remind us that while times change, the joy of cooling off on a hot summer day—and coming together as a community—never does.

Hey, neighbors! 🇺🇸 The Buffalo Gap Cemetery Association needs a few extra hands to help honor our local heroes. They’re placing flags on over 400 Veterans' graves for Memorial Day, and we’d love for you to join us.

It’s a simple way to give back and spend a morning with your community.
